As in other applications, it is the only reinforcing filler that allows the use of colours and minimises the staining often associated with carbon black. Its natural application is therefore in coloured parts such as gaskets, rollers, conveyor belts, rubber floors and ceilings, where colour and stain resistance are important.  <\/p>\n<p>However, although somewhat more difficult to process, virtually all parts can be formulated with silica, especially those rubbers that are more compatible with silica, such as SBR, BR, NBR and CR. Its performance is equivalent to the reference products in this application. Its use is particularly used in coloured rubber articles, where it offers excellent mechanical properties, allowing the use of any colour or colour combination. It is particularly suitable for use with NR, SBR\/BR, NBR and CR, but can also be used with other polymers. This presentation is important to avoid the presence of dust and worker exposure to dust. The product is the same as Reforsil S185PD, compacted by the application of mechanical pressure, without any additional additives or compounds. The granules are slightly more difficult to disperse than the powdered product, but allow work to be carried out in cleaner conditions and more material to be loaded due to the increased density. This is the role of REFORSIL<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> S125, which provides the benefits of silica without making the compounds viscous or difficult to process, but with a loss of mechanical properties compared to REFORSIL<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> S180. <\/p>\n<p>It is particularly recommended for injection moulding, as it allows good filling of the moulds and avoids problems of clogging of the injection channels.
